Our Team
A group of specialists on your side
As they say, “it takes a village,” and our village is filled with a multidisciplinary team of experts in every field imaginable to bring you personalized care. Our entire team, from the medical director to the front desk staff, meets daily to review patient progress and concerns, exchange observations, plan for upcoming treatment and brainstorm together to provide patients with the most responsive care possible. Nurses and doctors meet together regularly to go over every patient’s progress and care plans.
At the Martin-O’Neil Cancer Center, patient-centered care isn’t just what we do, it’s why we are here.
Medical oncologists, along with our nurse practitioner, diagnose cancer, create and coordinate your personal treatment plan and prescribe medications. Radiation oncologists treat cancer using radiation.
In addition, our multidisciplinary team is made up of clinical and non-clinical staff who are trained in serving your physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. They are dedicated to helping you during every step of your journey, so you can focus on what’s most important: your healing. These providers include:
- Oncology-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Breast nurse navigator
- Clinical trials coordinator
- Registered dietician
